Samsung LE40M87BD, line across bottom of screen!

Hi Everyone,

My samsung tv has had problems for around a year now i have previously posted on another forum regarding a line across the middle of the tv and somebody replied saying it would not be worth the money getting it repaired so after this we stored the tv in the attic and after a few months we decided to get it down to see if we could sell it and when we turned it on the line had disappeared!!! and it stayed clear for a few week and then a line appeared on the bottom of the screen now instead and has grown from a little line to almost all the way along the bottom!!! I am just wondering what this is? and if anybody has any tips? or how to repair it? or the cost of repair...
