Samsung LE40M8 not switching on

Have had this TV now for three years and today it has decided to stop working.

Tuesday switched the TV on and it just clicked on and off (No picture) just the red light on the front clicking on and off, after 10mins it switched on, same again yesterday.
Today however it is just clicking.

Any ideas on what it is and can it be fixed??

If can be fixed anyone know of a repairman in the Exeter area??

You need to read this thread and in particular the last post on page 2.
Different model but similar/same cause.
