Samsung LE40F86BDX or Philips 42PFL7962

Hey there, I've been looking to purchase a 40-42" LCD to replace my old R73 32" Samsung for a while and I'm unsure which to go for. I've liked my Samsung LCD (despite having a CMO panel I've tweaked it to how I like to view it) but I also like the Philips screens I've seen that others own.

Does Samsung still use the CMO screens or have I got more guarantee of a better panel manufacturer this time? Also, do they both do 1:1 pixel mapping over HDMI for hooking a PC into?
