I have been having intermittent issues with my Samsung LE40C580 TV recently, but it is becoming more frequent.
When on the freeview tuner the TV will stop responding to remote or front panel button input, although the light still flashes, then after around 5-10 seconds the TV will switch off and back on again. I have tried entering menus etc in the time before it locks but it will simply lock on the menu then continue to power off.
There have been times when it doesn't do this at all, but there are others when it does it constantly.
If I remove the aerial cable it is fine, and if i have it on any other input (HDMI, SCART etc) even with the aerial cable in it is fine.
Anyone have any ideas what this could be?
I am currently using a very cheap freeview box to enable me to still use the TV but it is getting annoying as the EPG is rubbish!
