My daughter and her boyfriend want to get the
Samsung LE40A786R2 .
They will use it for dvd/blue-ray ,sky (poss HD) and Xbox 360.
I read in a review that it had a input lag that was quite bad when playing xbox live.
Has anyone had any experience of this and how bad is it.
I recommended that she get the Sony but she does not like it .

Hi

I have the 46" 786r2 and can say i havent really noticed the input lag i am using the official microsoft vga lead with my 360 so input lag is low around 30ms but even with the hdmi connection from 360 i still cant notice any difference.

grid
gta
forza
battlefield bad company
gow2
moh airborne
dead rising
mass effect
far cry 2
brothers in arms
pgr4
cod
burnout paradise
halo 3

Well i just prefer the way vga from 360 looks on this tv it seems smoother with less jaggies maybe thats because hdmi is that little bit sharper but im happy with it.

I just use my own setting game mode is not available for vga but the led backlight option is and i have it on would never turn it off.
