samsung LE32R51BD or panasonic TX32LXD52

    Hi all, i am about to buy my first LCD and not sure which to get out of these two screens, samsung LE32R51BD or panasonic TX32LXD52 i have heard good things about both i will mainly be using it for Sky and DVD's and HD when it comes out. Which will have the best PQ when watching Sky i currently have a Philips 32" PW9309 will any of these two match the PQ on Sky and DVD of my current TV??, i will be getting it this week so any advice would be great

    any other views on this, as i want to get it tomorrow and i carnt find anything on here what compares the to tv's. I also carnt find any reviews on the TX32LXD52.

    I have been searching through more info. on the Samsung one......sorry I dunno anything about the panasonic. which one is cheaper?

    The samsung is cheaper, only just and thats only at the local comet.

    As someone who has had both these models working next to each other, I'd say definitely go for the Panasonic. I really wanted to like the Samsung (or rather, the price!), but at the end of the day it couldn't match the picture quality of the Panasonic.

    I tried sports programmes, soaps, nature documentaries, films, you name it. The Panasonic was sooo much better. Well worth the extra £200 the Panny costs. I know there are a lot of satisfied Sammy owners on here, but the Panny is the way to go.

    Cheers for that jonti, i was starting to sway to the panasonic been on the forum nearly all day trying to decide, going down tomorrow to get it hope i wont be disappointed.

    It's a lot of money to part with, so you need to make sure you're happy with your purchase. As I said, I really wanted to love the Sammy, but once I'd seen the Panasonic in action, that niggle in the back of my mind got bigger and bigger and bigger.

    If you live near a shop that has both of these in, have a good look at both. John Lewis are good for having lots of different models in.
