I made my decision to get the Samsung LE32R41BDX/R51 about a month ago, but lately I've been browsing the forums and it seems some people are saying the Sharp is better.. and I've checked, the prices are very similar.

Could someone possibly list the Sharp's Pros and Cons compared the the samsung? I'm having second thoughts here.

Also in a misc note, how are RGB scart connections on these? For my Sega Saturn and Snes, etc.

And last thing, I usually watch my TV in the dark.. in the case that this will screw up my viewing performance, is there any kind of light recommended that I could stick behind the TV or something? I read about ambilight.. but that's just built into certain TV's.

I'm in the EXACT same boat as you. I've been contemplating on whether to get the Samsung or the Sharp but recently I've been edging more towards the Sharp

Just some threads you should read to aid you with your decision :lesson:

I've still not made my mind up yet because there are not enough opinions out there for the Sharp as there are for the Samsung so its a one sided thing ie your bound to hear alot more people complain about the problems with the Samsung.

True, I went down to PC World today to see the Sammy, it looks really nice.. got the exact measurements and such., I'll read through those posts later.

But what alternatives do I have when I play the Sammy in the dark? I wouldn't want a horribly bright light behind my TV.. it would completely void the point of a dark room, but a dimish light would be nice.. but I have no idea what kind of Light or Ambilight ( whatever that is ) would be good to put behind my TV to stop it from looking wrong in a dark room.
