    Hi,

my shortlist is down to the two sets listed above, samsung is at £796.06 at ED (http://www.empiredirect.co.uk/Content/Products/Details/index.asp?modelcode=SAM-LE32R41B) and the tosh is £849.79 at tv and video direct (http://www.tvandvideodirect.com/product.php?xProd=1751&xSec=174).

Looks wize, probably perfred the tosh (nice simple look to it), the sets for in the living room, eventually i will hook it up tp my pc, but for now, its dvd/freeview...

I read the samsung thread so know the potential tearing issues, and some of the tosh's buzzed?

Can anyone say anything to push me one way or the other?

ditto for for ED and TV&Video direct?

    Cheers, sean.

I went for the Toshiba 27WL56 as I already have a Samsung downstairs which I'm not that impressed with.

    strangley...

ended up getting the toshiba, picture looks good and the set is very tidy looking :)

Stuck it on the cheep kenmarrk stand from JL and it all looks very nice.

Only downside i have found so far is that that the dsub input only takes 60hz? and i dont seem to be able to display 1280/720 (i know it gets sceled, bit it ujust comes out green!)?

Would either of you like to recomend any settings ?
