Hi
i just got a new PC so i got my old 1 connected to my TV
but the colours of the screen is very bland
im not very good at setting contrast and brightness so
can any1 give me any advice of what settings i should use??

also any idea how i can get my video files to run widescreen (streched or what so)
as most video files are 4:3 pan screen so i get black borders on the sides when using playing them

Try turning colour weakness on on the menu and seting Red to plus 3. Thats what I do with my Xbox and it reduces a lot of the blandness. Plus I have my contrast set to 94 and brightness to 50

had been lazy with my Media PC
and havent done much to it

but now i realise that im actually getting no RED what so ever

im using a Samsung LE32R41B with a Radeon 9700 (non pro)
and connected the PC to the TV with the standard VGA (D-sub?) cable
could it be my cable?? or is my video card is too old??

tried Emailing Samsung some time back
but they told me to phone the technical support line
but never got around doing it (never liked support lines)

any ideas how i can fix my colour problems??

Media Player Classic allows stretching, or 'fit window from outside' will crop the top and bottom and preserve the aspect ratio (generally my choice).
