Progressive scan is possible on the TV (it's the best way of viewing on LCD TV's).

You will need a component cale (ask in teh shop :)). Not to be confused with composite! COMPONENT! ;)

    Where are you ordering from?

I advised someone to get this but they have had trouble because the prices keep moving around (usually upwards)

Found it for £840 all inclusive but that's going to take three weeks.

No one as got it in stock, cheapest place I found it who DOES have it in stock is amazon.co.uk for £612.

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000A0D8F4/ref=br_lf_ce_15/026-5344494-6909229

Alot of sites say they have it in or dont even say in or out of stock so i Emailed around and they all says october but amazon say despatch with in 24 hours

I was going to buy it but im limited for space and funds so im going for the 23 inch version its high def through component video still but doesnt have the HDMI socket on it.

I don't mean to rub it in or anything but after 3 days searching i ordered mine today. It was in stock, £598 with free delivery and will be set up and running in my house by tomorrow evening...it was the last one in stock too...you could try PC World though, they were prepared to drop to around £650 for the 26" LE26R51B for me at the weekend and that is the model with the v shape to the black front...

I got one from Hughes Direct next day delivery on Thursday of this week for £643.99(includes £10 del charge) but I haven't got a clue how to set it up properly. I've got a good picture using a digital box from my old television but could not get a automatic set up. I'm still trying. It has two scart sockets and I have a separate video recorder and a DVD and I has the digital box which I find can give a good picture at least- the controls are a mystery
Can anyone help sort out my priorities. Where should the ariel go- TV or digital box etc etc?????

OH YES!!! It's a thing of beauty! Using it as a PC monitor at the moment but will install the TV card and hook the PC up to Sky tomorrow. The picture quality is absolutely stunning, just ran a DVD through my PC to see what it looked like and that was awesome too...I can't see how you would be disappointed with this LCD...

Said item arrived this morning (Thurs) whilst I was in bed (nightshift). Set it up quickly this afternoon before kids came home from school, everybody well impressed. It's all on the default settings at the moment, when I get some time at the weekend I'll see if I can fine tune it a bit, contrast brightness etc.
So all in all, for £598 a damn fine hdtv
