I still have my fingers crossed, although others on another site have the noticed the very cheap prices too and don't think it will hit 1400EUR until December or January. Expansys Germany have the LE55A956 http://www.expansys.de/p.aspx?i=171754
for 3,489EUR compared to 3,184EUR on the Dutch site http://www.digitalstreet.nl/product...cts_id=9279&osCsid=fcit7o9l72ua13pc4q9o71lhi3 and the US MSRP is $4199, so their prices don't seem massivily out.

Checkout this UK link! Great starting price if true!

cheap electricals are selling the le46a786 for £1599, and the le46a956 for £1699. available in september.

Just got back from CostCo, they're selling F96's for £999.00+vat. Should I go for this or wait for the new range?? :lease:

I'd wait for the new range. If the starting prices here are to go by, they will only be a coupla hundred more. Plus by then worse case scenario, the F96 will have dropped in price a bit more or at least stayed the same.

They'll probably cost a bomb though, eh? ;)

RGBdirect had it listed for £1400, then replaced it with CALL, but the price is still on froogle but that could be the RRP.

The site I looked at earlier http://www.cpu.lt/product_info.php?cPath=59_110&products_id=8717 in Latvia originally had the price listed as [-]6.199,00Lt[/-] 5.449,00Lt, so 6.199,00Lt sounds like their RRP in Latvia and 6.199,00Lt works out to £1427.40 which is interestingly close to RGBdirects £1400. The Latvian site now has it listed as [-]6.199,00Lt[/-] 6.199,00Lt though. They have the A656 listed as [-]6.554,00[/-]Lt 4.549,00Lt so the scored figure does look like the RRP. So i'm hoping for £1200 online with it maybe dropping to £1000 by January.

Looks like the Germans are getting a 3 year warrenty from Samsung with theirs, which is annoying.

Lithuania I think it is (haven't checked lol) with LV being Latvia, I was going through quite a few sites many of which were either Lithuanian or Latvian checking so just made a slight slip up.

But yes my geography is poor lol I also live on an island.

Please use search on Ruby2 as project

As I said before the Ruby2 UK Manual BN68-01736D http://ibbank.net/manual/z_manual_v...earch_val2=&search_type=&s_manual_stat=&cok=#
does not show up when you do a search for Ruby2. The only manuals that show up are:

ruby2.JPG

The Northern Europe BN68-01736B manual doesn't show up either, but can be downloaded from http://ibbank.net/manual/z_manual_v...earch_val2=&search_type=&s_manual_stat=&cok=#

As of the 20th, the UK manual is now showing up on a search. Northern Europe still doesn't though.

Hard to say until you see it in the flesh I guess. Someone did a review of the LED A950 on the US site "avsforums". He posted a video of the TV displaying a basket ball program while he moved the camera to one side to give you an idea of what it looks from the side angle.

The owners in the Samsung LE-96 LED thread should know more http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=602087

the A750 has multimedia features while A780 doesnt but it has LED

better blacks
