A direct question to the owners of the above set.

Has it failed at all since you bought it?

I've just had my second go faulty, this one rather spectacularly, with a right old BANG, and I'm wondering whether I've jst been unlucky, or should I get a refund and get a different set?

    Any thoughts?

I had the 32" version which had a very patchy backlight, when there were dark scenes in a film there were white patches in places and the backlight itself just didn't seem to light the screen evenly.
I changed to the LG instead of getting another Samsung and finding that one to be faulty as well

I had the non-freeview 26" version for about a week before sending it back due to dodgy speakers (made annoying noise even when muted). Replaced it with the Toshiba 32WLT58 and I can't fault it.
