I have a 2/3 yr old TV above that I believe has some reset issues possibly due to overheating. To reproduce the issue the following normally has occured:
The TV has been on for an hour at least and so is 'warm'
Watching iPlayer and switching between that and the normal EXT channel, at the point of switching the TV switches off and tries to restart, and then sometimes restarts again when it gets 3/4 through the startup chime
Watching USB flv files and flicking between iPlayer/apps or EXT channel, pressing Exit whilst doing something when TV is warm.
Its definitely resetting when the TV changes resolution.
Which board is it that would be responsible? I checked all capacitors on the Power board and these are ok. (with a capacitance meter)
What does NOT trigger it is and why I believe it is overheating:
Cold start - internet connection
Switching resolutions between FLV USB files, internet iPlayer app or other apps or cable.
