    Hi.

I decided to replace the 1TB hard drive on my Samsung Ativ 6 Book with an SSD. I am fairly sure I have managed to clone the drive (you will see why in a minute) and I took it all apart, removed the hard drive, and the connector that connects the hard drive to the laptop has come away from the motherboard.

It is a flexible connector that looks identical to this one:

laptop SATA Hard Drive HDD Connector FLEX CABLE BA41 02200A NIKE2 15H HDD on Aliexpress.com | Alibaba Group

The clip it goes in to is tiny, about 7mm big, there is a black moveable thing on it which appears to be a clip, but I have NO IDEA how the connector goes in to the clip or whether up or down is locked.

Does anyone have any idea before I have to resort to taking it to a repair shop?

    Thanks

This should be in our PC forum. Ask a mod to move it.

Can you take a picture of it as most of them should be standard fit for 2.5" drives
