Hi all, i have just bought a LG 50" hd ready with xd engine plasma tv with the samsung HT-X310R surround sound, problem is when setting up do you have to put the dvd player sd/hd 720 1080 etc the same as your tv resolution, i put on saving private ryan and the picture was just ok thought it should be better as i am using a hdmi cable, also have read the forums for the best sound settings and people have suggested the matrix setting on the dvd player, did this and the sound was great but did not here any bass noise, any ideas?

cheers walks

Try pressing the 'sound edit' button on the remote and the display will change. keep pressing until it says 'SUB' or something like that and you can then up it to +6 maximum but i have mine on +2 to +3 and the walls start shaking!

You'll also be able to change the rear and center speakers the same way...great sound system for the price though.

Made mine region free too! :r0::clap:
