Samsung HT-E5550 HDMI input problem

Standard Member
Hi mates,
Yesterday i bought HT-E5550 (2 HDMI input + optical ) connected to my samsung tv 37D6100 with HDMI

I have issues with it

1) if i have Anynet+ and ARC on, optical input don't work :(
2) I tried to connect some devices in HDMI 1 input….
DM8000: the picture has a lot of snow and no audio at all,
Popcorn Hour A110: HT can not see it in HDMI 1 at all
Apple TV 2 : Snow on picture too like DM8000
PS: Same devices in HDMI 2 work perfect

And my question: Is something wrong with HDMI 1 input ? or this input have some special and need special cable or anything else

Can i make any trick to work the same time Anynet+ and optical input??

Thanks a lot
Regards Giannis

Anynet+ (and ARC) enabled means that the audio that the home cinema is receiving must be coming from the HDMI input - as that is the only input on a home cinema which can accept an audio return channel.

If you want to use optical input as audio source, then you are disabling ARC (because optical isn't ARC or Anynet+ controlled).
