    hoping some of you may be able to help me. I have a widescreen tv..Samsung- WS28W8VNE - last few days I have noticed in each corner of the screen..purple colour staining - one side is worse than other, Any ideas at all what this is? ... I wouldn't mind but the guarantee ran out 2 months ago :(

    It could be many things.Most obvious is stray magnetism, do you have unshielded speakers in close proximity ?

    hi Lynx, thanks for replying..:) I dont have unshielded speakers anywhere near the tv.. Is this easy to fix? hmmm and not too costly i hope..grrrr wish i had taken the extended guarantee now..lol
