Help please having just bought a samsung sp46l6hx tv i hooked it up to one of my kids akura £26 dvd player via component, i was quite amazed at the picture quality from such a cheap player so im thinking how good is hdmi going to be then.
so yesterday i bought a samsung hd950 connected it via component good picture again, next tried the hdmi 720p and was shooked at how bad the picture is could this be the fault of the supplied hdmi lead? and would i see a great improvement by buying a good quility lead or am i expecting too much from a cheap player?.

    Hi Gary.

Havent got one myself but i'm sure i've seen threads on the forum complaining about the poor performance of the HDMI connection.

Have a hunt around the forum there's bound to be something there.

To get you started - start ploughing through this thread. Useful info on multiregion hacks there.

    Cheers
