I am close to buying a Toshiba 46WM48 DLP TV, and am now considering what DVD player to complement it.

The choice of reasonably priced DVI/HDCP players seems to narrow down to the Samsung HD945 or Denon 1910.

    So which one?
Both seem to offer very similar specs.

The Samsung seems to be cheaper, and has Divx support. However, I got put off a little by reports elsewhere that there is motion judder when playing back upscaled PAL DVDs, which most of mine are.

Anything else that might sway my decision one way or t'other?

Or is there something else out there I should be considering?

    thanks

Have you thought about the panasonic S97? It uses the same upscaling chip as the more expensive Denons (better than the 1910), and isnt much more expensive.
