Samsung HD745 Video Output question

I currently have a Toshiba 220 that feeds it's component video output through an Iscan Pro onto my Z2 projector. At the same time, the s-video output from the Tosh 220 is also passed onto my TV, for times when the kids just want to watch the TV without the Projector. This works well.

Now, I want to start scaling the DVD image, to match that panels of my Z2 projector, but in order to do this I have two choices. Buy an Iscan HD+ scaler, lumegen type solution, or change my DVD player, to something like a Samsung HD745, a much much cheaper :)

My question is this, if I configure the HD745 to output 720p video via the Component sockets, can it still output video through it's s-video or scart socket? The manual seems to say it can't, but that also says you can only output 720p through DVI, which we all know is incorrect. All you need there is the region free hack and you can then output 720p through component!

Can any current owners of a Samsung HD745 answer this for me?

Thanks

This is not working. You would have to change the setting in the samsungs menu each time and therefore start your Z2... not a good solution I think :(

Doesn't sound like the Samsung is my answer then :( Time to start saving for an HD+ !!!

Thanks again for the confirmation though.
