Samsung galaxy s3 apps not automatically updating. I have un installed Google play updates and download manager. I cleared the data there was no cache to clear, I don't know if that's the problem so I have un installed the updates for YouTube and it's been over an hour now and it still hasn't updated. Auto update is enabled in Google play store and when I go to my apps YouTube is there to be updated. Any advice please.

Try a phone reboot? Normally forces my apps to update that way

Looks like I have to restart all the time now, didn't have to do this before. Does a factory reset stop you from encryption it says it does but that doesn't make sense as you are putting it back to being straight out the box.

Thanks I will give it a go. No it never worked for me does doing a factory reset disable encryption? It says it does but that doesn't make sense as you are putting it back to being straight out of the box.

I will contact Google first before I do it and see what they say. I changed maps back to the older version and disabled updates, but I have now had the auto update for maps enabled for days now and it won't update to the newest version.

I dont have the email but the phone itself is the easiest way to do it.....your phone will do backup and auto factory reset.
