The freeview tuner in my Le32R51 puts several channels into 4.3 that should be widescreen as far as I know. A good example is Skynews and E4.
It's not a major problem as I use my Sony stb because I prefer the EPG. However when I use that for recording I have to use the internal tuner and thats when I notice it. It doesn't happen on the Sony box.
    Any Ideas anyone???

Skynews (and ITV News) has always been 4:3 for me, and some E4 programs (Friends for instance) on my old widescreen CRT. Same now on the Samsung too.

Thanks. I thought it changed via a signal from the broadcaster. Ive never had those in 4.3 until this tuner. As I say the Sony doesn't change it.
