About a year ago I was recommended on the avs forum to purchase the samsung dvd-hd935,to partner with my HS10.
Typically I couldn't lay my hands on one.

Now however it seems at last its available in the uk.This makes this all the more attractive after reading its reveiw in april's issue of HCC.

    Specifications

    Dvi output with 720p/1080i upscaling,progressive scan PAL/NSTC,16:9 4:3support,NSTC/PAL 60 from NSTC software.

    Connections

    (Rear)2x stereo audio out,optical/coaxial out,scart (RGB/composite out),composite/component/s-video out,Dvi out.

It also boasts the genesis fli2310(scaler) chip used by samsungs very expensive h700a Dlp projector.Intrestingly the same chip forms part of the vastly more expensive Denon DVD-A11.

HCC said in its concluding comments:-

"ALL IN ALL THIS IS A REMARKABLE MACHINE.IF YOU CAN EXPLOIT ITS DIGITAL OUTPUT AND UPSCALER,THEN PAYING MORE FOR A HIGHER SPEC DECK SEEMS AN UNJUSTIFIABLE LUXURY".

It even comes with its own Dvi cable.

All this for a staggering £142.45 HERE

Indeed, and some of these new machines will also support WM9 HiDef which could be of interest.

Would this work on a pio 434 through a dvi - HDMI adapter?
