    This is one of the better budget DVD recorders at present. It is based on the popular Panasonic E50 but with DVD-RW recording, iLink and coaxial digital audio connections added. Highly recommended. The only drawbacks are that to use Flexible Record you need to use the Timer - not the end of the world but an inconvienance none-the-less. And the unit has no component connections. Apart from that top value at that money :smashin:

    Tempted, very tempted, but still think I'll hold until either the Panny E85 or ToshX32 dip below the 300 mark.

    You might have a long wait :) But then who would have thought HDD/DVDRs would be sub-£350 this time last year?
