Samsung D6100 vs D7000

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a 55" 3D LED TV and I'm researching Samsung at the moment and was wondering what the differences are between the UE55D6100 and UE55D7000 apart from the external aesthetics/cosmetics?

I've seen the UE55D7000 for £1,800 and the UE55D6100 for £1,205 and would like to know what the £600 extra for the UE55D7000 will really give.

Do they use the same LED panel?

My primary concern is image quality followed by the smart tv functionality.

D7000 has a far superior picture. Not that the D6100 isn't good, but the extra £600 is justified IMO.

You'd have to see them both instore to be able to compare, however I think you'll have the same opinion of the D7000 is on the next level!
