samsung cinema kit no sound

just bought a new series 6 40inch samsung tv and a samsung htz310 dvd cinema kit 5.1 , works great when playing dvd, but cant get sound from it when watching tv via my v+ box, any ideas?

You just need to connect an optical cable from your V+ to your Samsung HT-Z310
