    Hi,

I'm waiting for my Pio 434 delivery to come thro soon and am looking to replace my existing player (Sony 735) to take advantage of HDMI/DVi.

I can't afford the 868 at the moment and am looking for a budget player (in the interim) that will do a reasonable job of utilising the HDMI. I've narrowed it down to: Samsung 945 or Yamakawa 365.

    Which one is better?

You have thought exactly as I did and you can see at the bottom what I did!

I can vouch for the Yamakawa being wery flexible accepting most of the disks I throw at it. The dvi to HDMI lead works a treat and the picture quality is very good. i had some teething problems with it but firmware updates resolved all my problems and I haven't looked back since.

FWIW the new 375 is out now which is better looking and has more connections.
