Looking for a player to accompany my Sanyo Z2 DVi input pj. Have seen a few posts on the Samsungs... Questions:

Does the MR hack work on the 745?

Are the 745 / 945 NTSC prog scan as well as PAL prog scan?

    Has anyone got a 745?

I have seen posts stating that 'cheap' DVi equipped players tend not to have good quality images through their DVi outputs. Would it be better to buy a reasonable progressive scan machine instead (I realise both the 745 and 945 have prog scan)?

    Others considered:
Denon 1910 (DVI) - PQ and Macroblocking problems?
Pany S97 (HDMI) - £220 - PQ? bit of an unknown... anybody got one?
    Sony 955 (Prog Scan)

    Any other recommendations?

Advice appreciated.. especially from people with a Z2 or these players.

    thanks in advance..
