I have got a 55Q70T and have always had a problem with my PS4.
Basically, whenever I turn off the console (or in to rest mode to be specific), the TV seems to instantly 'forget' the device. This means that when I turn the PS4 on again, the TV does that annoying 'scanning for devices' and brings up the smart bar thing at the bottom of the screen. It recgonises it as a PS4 and names it automatically as such, but doesn't remember that detail.
The TV remembers my Xbox Series X and Switch. They both have their proper logos displayed but the PS4 is just an image of a generic game controller.
I have tried the PS4 in HDMI 2 and 3 and have the same issue in both ports.
Anyone else have the same annoying issue? Any ideas how to remedy?
Thanks all
