My 3yr old Samsung tv started making a clicking sound when I tried to switch it on yesterday. It seemed to be trying to power up but was not succeeding. No picture or sound just the clicking sound.
Called Samsung support and as it was out of warranty they just gave me the number of the service centre. Called them and explained the problem. Their opinion was it was the main board and quoted me between 400-500 chf to repair it!!! Thats expensive for a 3 yr old tv.
Anyone else had a similar issue?
Its knocked my confidence in Samsung as I was going to replace it with another Samsung next year.
