Samsung 40inch r88 possible problem

    Wondering if anyone can help i got a nice new tv on friday a samsung r88 from pc world 40inch model and its been working perfect untill i noticed something last night.

    http://www.ukapp.com/tv/ if you look at the images there you will notice the green dotted line down one side. this pic being the best [​IMG] all were taken on my phone sorry for image quality

    my question is is it a error with the tv as when i switch it off and left it 2 mins and put it back on with the same channel it was fine.

    Was watch eragon on sky movies SD

    Can you please resize your picture, if you need software to do this try IrfanView

    hhmmm cant see any green line.

    is it at top of the picture? bottom? left side?

    resize it to what mate?

    Btw taken it back to pc world after 50mins of bad customer service i walked away with a new one. going to test it later but still wanting to know why it did it.

    the green lines are dotted likes at the top on bottom of the image

    The green smudges are at the black top and bottom borders of the picture, not on the picture itself. You cant miss them.

    Try resizing to 640x480, it ruins the thread when a pic stretches it all the way across and beyond the screen. You dont want us to get RSI from scrolling right and left all the time, do you? ;)

    Anyone got any info on why the green lines are there tho?

    The green lines look like a physical fault, damage to the screen itself. It looks similar to the coloured lines that occur on broken panels.

    You have gotten it replaced though, which is all that matters.
