Excellent news indeed! The only real negative in there sounds like image retention, and even then it won't effect everyone.

It's interesting there was no mention of buzzing (although no mention of there being "no buzzing" either).

Just postedo n the other thread then saw this Is the 8000 coming out over here, or is it the same as the UK 7000 model?

hi its the same as the USA model C8000.

Its odd though that there are no other reviews for the samsung plasma on the net.

you would have thought that samsung would be keen to get some samples out so it can be compared to the panny plasma 3d sets.

at present the consensus is that the panny is the better 3d performer however it has not been compared at this time to samsung's 3d models
