I can get a Samsung ws32m64v for £500 from a local store but the offer ends tomorrow is this a good television for the price?

As stated in a previous post (i'd like to thank everyone who replied to that) i only need it for dvd playback and so the picture quality is important, and as its going on a 5.1 kit i dont need the sound to be any good.

    Samsungs site states...

    32" (16:9) Pureflat Screen
    28" Conventional Tube
    Picture standard mode
    Virtual Dolby Sound
    Plug & Play
    Auto volume Leveller
    Sound Equalizer

what does 28" conventional tube mean?

32" pureflat seems like a bargin at £500 should i get it or is it a pile of junk?

Finally please dont reply with somthing like "the sony ws346k6 has a better picture at £1200" as i'm on a budget and 32" would be fantastic.

    Thanks
