I've never owned an LCD tv, or really had a fiddle with one - I'm more of a regular on the projector boards... Despite this, I've just been asked to sort out my uncle's Samsung 32" LCD tv. He'd set it up so Sky via the RF cable, and it was pretty dire, I've done better I think, but I'm not certain I've got the best image possible.

So far as I can tell, I'm running RGB over a fully wired scart to AV1. The picture is sharp, bright, but there's still a slight ghosting around certain objects. I've turned off digital noise reduction, auto-contrast, and anything else which I suspected could have been adding artifacts to the display. So, is the ghosting normal? Just part and parcel of showing a vanilla standard def image on a high-def panel?

Is there something obvious I could have missed?

    TIA

    Andy
