RD50 has the slight edge in picture quality, but the samsung can do region 1 (60Hz) with no judder.

was in he same boat a few weeks ago, i went for the samsung. the rd50 displays fantastic picture as does the samsung but the region 1 issue with the rd50 made it a big no no for me. although a pc is a workaround but not everyone wants a pc in their living room (i didnt). its your call as everyone has different tastes, im extremely happy with my sp50l7 and couldnt want more, and i love watching region 1 without judder :D

yes i think between the two there will be little difference and both will be miles better than a Phillips 24'' :D :D

i'm so used to seeing a poor quality picture, that when i eventually see the Sammy 50, as Razor said it'll be like being reborn :D :D

the difference in size is massive, it might even be too big :D :D

I havent seen the sammy in action but i get the impression from reading posts that the Sammy has a smoother picture & i suspect most people would like one over the other . Which one you'd like best is anybody's guess.
The RD50 looks good with it's stand
The Sammy L7 looks fantastic (did you see the shrine croozer built for his)

You're going to have to go demo both of them if you want the best picture quality for you.

Have you thought about Plasma I know we're allways knocking it's picture quality but Samsung are bringing out a 102" Plasma this year.
quick somebody get the smelling salts for Razor :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
