    Hi Folk's
Have had my Sammy SP46 for some weeks now, and overall am pretty pleased with it, however when whatching soccer, golf, rugby infact anything with turf, the grass appears as being what I can only describe as fluffy, especially on the distance shots, I have played around with the picture settings but can not resolve it.
I know that the picture on Samsung DLP's are softer so dose that I will will just have to live with it.
Has anyone else noticed this problem.

What's the source? If Sky or Freeview, then what you're seeing is the effect of the low bitrates used by many channels. Grass detail consumes a lot of bandwidth.

Then that's the cause of the problem. Most sports coverage doesn't use enough bandwidth to provide detail in the grass, so it ends up looking like a blur of green. Not a problem with your TV, more a problem with satellite TV channels that cut costs by cutting bandwidth.
