    Ok I have a 40" R87 its great but...

I thought it was only recordings from my V+ but I get, what I can only describe as stutter, or like a double image, for eg when some one moves there head or something.

Is this just a LCD thing, havent really noticed it on my 26 Humax LCD in my bedroom though.

I asked the wife and she just says what? where, but I am noticing it more and more. Its not on one channel, all my TV watching is through the V+, havent even tried the inbuilt freeview yet theres no need for it in my setup

    can anyone comment please

    thanks

Have noticed the same thing on my 32R88. Have posted in another thread but no replies yet. Have a few things to try like switching from movie mode and, as i am using a sky hd box, switching it to Auto resolution so that it sends normal SD to the telly. Think i need to have more of a play with the settings, but it drives the wife mad, so i dont get chance to much. ;)

What's worrying is that I also get a similar effect when watching HD stuff. When the pictures still it looks fantastic, but as soon as things start moving it looks very blurred indeed.

    So many settings....

Just to make you both feel less lonely my LE32R87BDX started exhibiting a similar problem last night although I would describe it slightly differently.

On both terrestrial and the built in freeview (havent noticed it from my ps3 yet but that has other problems - see my other posts) there is a double image just off to the right of the more predominant image all the time not just in movements.

For example ITV1 had their adverts on and there logo showed on a black background and I could clearly see a second 1 to the right so that it read ITV11. This makes for a very blurred image.

Now I was putting this down to just the bad reception in my area but it is fine on all the other tellies in the house including two other lcd tvs.

Any ideas would be much apreciated - oh and fyi I have tried with movie mode on and off as well as gaming and dmie and also the setting that tries to enhance the signal quality (forgot its name).

    So happy suggestions :)

Disable Movie mode should help. I have the same TV & it stopped the jerking about.
Here's my problems, does anyone have the same/can offer help?!

A light coloured banding from the left - 5 inches in width & stretching from the top to bottom. Can be seen best via VGA & Xbox 360, put a black pic on your 360 & bring up the brightness. Anyone else have it? I can see it on certain games too.
This can be seen via component too.

Another VGA & 360 problem. Using the same black pic, look closely at your screen, the pixels seem to be going apesh*t!! shimmering/flashing effect. Can only be seen up close.
    This dosen't happen via component.

I'm thinking of asking for a replacement, my TV is 2 weeks old. How much hassle am I likely to get off Currys?!!

I am sending mine back - with and without Movie mode on I get that 'Judder'. It's just weird.

But my main gripe is it can not produce solid blacks - It must be faulty.

Going from a bright scene at the end of a movie when the black screen come up then I have an image (shadow) retention.

On black borders on films there is all sorts of noise and pixelation going on. Looks as if there is water under the screen.

I have only tried Hdmi connections - sky and dvd.

I have the 37PX70 on order as an exchange - Thought I'd try a Plasma.

Is that what they call clouding? Maybe search the forum with the keyword "clouding" ?

It's faulty, you have 30 days return no questions asked with currys. Do it, I'm on me 3rd and this one seems fine. My first had a bit of clouding, but yours seems really bad.

Have I got to guess where it's from? If you're not happy with it, send it back & get a replacement.
