Ok I have a question.
My dad is with '3' and got a killer deal from one of those cash back sites (12 months free line rental and free phone on a 12month contract).
Basically his contract is almost over. I phone '3' and asked if I found something from another site and its with the 3 network, can I transfer this current number to the new contract. She said no, the same network doesn't accept the PAC code within the same network, fair enough.
So I was thinking, what if I got the PAC code and transferred it to lets say a Virgin (or any other network except 3) PAY AS YOU GO card, then once thats done, get a PAC code from Virgin and give it to 3, would that work?
If I could do it this way then I would save a years contract to go back to 3.
The main reason he wants 3 is because he can check his minutes easily and quickly and they also give a lot of minutes for nothing.
Thanks in advance.
