I've had an X36F (USB combo) for over 4 years now. It has taken me through many a game - starlancer, mechwarrior 4, i-war 2, freespace 1 & 2.....to name a few. If the X45 is built as well as mine, then i would recommend it without hestation. And after 4 years, everything still feels tight and jsut about new.

One nice thing that stands out (probably on the X45/52 too), is the adjustable resistance on the throttle (via a screw underneath), so you can set it to that 'just right' feel. The rubberised grip surfaces are also well placed. All in all, a quality priduct (paid £65 delivered at the time).

    Cowboy,

I have the X52 which I have to say is very impressive. A lot of thought has gone into the design. If you are into flight sim games then go for this, you will not be disappointed.
