Have seen this Sagem PVR6280T at Comet today. Has anyone got one yet?
Looks cool for the money
Good price, but seems fundamentally flawed in terms of functionality if what this guy says is true.
But for the money it loos Ok if your needs are very simple.
No-one got one?
I think a Toppy would be better, and a TiVo better still.
I understand that the padding problem can be cured by a manual override, But you cannot record 2 programs at once. (don't think this has ever been an issue for me though) Check out http://www.pvruk.co.uk
I have connected my new SAGEM and am well please with the PQ and recording functions. (should have got one of these things when they first came out) The old Panny VCR is off to the dump. Happy camper
I am fed up waiting for the new Humax and may be tempted by this if I can find some pic quality reports...what screen are you using clash?
I have a "old" 28" Toshiba - The PQ is best i've ever had but that may not be as good as more modern setups. I am soon to get a 32" LCD (Panny or Hitachi or Toshiba or Philips or..........
A twin tuner PVR that cannot record 2 programmes at once seems pretty silly to me; at the very least it would solve the "unable to record sequential programmes due to padding" issue, without the rather unsatisfactory solution of removing the padding!
What can I say! I like it
Has anybody heard about a new Freeview PVR made by BT?
Got my 6240 yesterday. Fed up waiting for the Humax. Can't fault it so far. Great pic quality.
Good to hear from another SAGEM fan, I was thinking I was the only one! I've had mine for a week now, how did I live without it.....
