Hi all. Im after the new sagem hdd45 now after being put off by the hd50 threads on the forum, And was looking at a dvd player to go with it.My burning quetion is do i need to splash out in a progressive scan dvd or will my sony dav 800 do the job? In other words will the tv do the clever bits instead of the dvd player or is an upgrade the way to go? My budget is about £300 max. A recorder would be even better any help would be great,MY SONY IS NOT PROGRESSIVE SCAN :)

    cheers all Alan

PS IVE EMAILED JOHN LEWIS TO GET A STOCK DATE I WILL POST WHEN I GET AN ANSWER
