    Does anyone know accurately how long the lamp life will be for this DLP tv?

    About 8,000. On average you should get 2-3 years per lamp depending on daily use. About 2.5 years at 8 hours a day.

    There not cheap, somebody mentioned £200-£300. However, I would imagine they will be much cheaper in 2-3 years time when you need it replacing.

    I have just dived in and bought a 45 - I was assured that Sagem are quoting a life of up to 12000 hrs for the bulb!
    Price is around the £200 mark at present, but they are expected to drop.

    Set the TV up last night with absolutely no fuss at all, fabulous picture etc etc - would deinately recommend the Sagem to anyone
