Still undecided on the 26-27" LCD tv i want to buy
i had saw a Sagem Axium HD-L27 on display in JL and it looked very nice. I got the guy to rig it up to a dvd player and pic quality was good. Sharp colours and contrast was good.
So .... i was wondering what others thought of the set or if you have one in use, is it worth it at £999
my second choices are the new tosh's or samsung's

    TIA

It does seem expensive for a 27'' LCD TV but I suppose it is a quality set

and does have a true 16:9 ratio, most of these smaller sets are 15:9 .

The only thing is compared to some of the new 32'' models coming out

the price is in or near that price range .

Fair comment .. ok so i read the magazine reviews there are a few niggles with the sound and black contrast would you say these are apparent in reality ?

    hi smilodon

I do not use the tvs onboard speakers but i have tryed them out with various music channels and they are prietty good they do not distort when used at full volume but then 2x12w isnt that loud is it. The tv can display blacks fine the only time blacks can look to light is when setting the backlight to its highest setting but even then id doesnt look gray.

Thanks for the reply peahead sounds good enough to me I thought id ask a real person's experience of the TV than reject/accept it on a basis of a Mag review
