Just curious what settings (brightness/colour etc) most folks are using? Here's mine:

    Brightness: 50
    Contrast: 55
    Colour: 57
    Sharpness: -10 (doesn't do anything?)

Model is a Sagem D45H GT, connected to a HTPC (Nvidia 6150 graphics). Material is mainly DVD+ffdshow, but also occasional TS/h264.

Mine arrives on Tuesday and i'll be hooking up a htpc (nvidia 6600) + Xbox 360 + Tvdrive.
I'll also be giving it a thorough calibration so I'll post my number next week.

    Ho hum...

Got a message from the delivery folks that my tv isn't going to get delivered today. Arrrggghhhh.... At least empiredirect have reimbursed the delivery fee.
It should arrive on Thursday. My tv drive (telewest) should in installed tomorrow so hopefully will have some nice hidef goodness to watch thursday night.

I'll try some of your settings as well and let you know how I get on.

Hi all, careful with the sharpness control, Sharpness was designed to be used on NTSC signals it should be switched off or set to it's minimum when viewing PAL or SECAM signals.

Usual settings requires only 2-3 to drown out all other noises. I usually play at 20-22 but I also use side speakers which increases volume overall.

All other audio is via the Panny AMP.

Got my set today (HD-D45GT) and it's absolutely awesome. I'm really impressed. I also got my tv drive installed today and the hi-def content looks spectacular.

Xbox360 also looks stunning. I've not been this excited about a bit of tech for years.

    Simply awesome :)

Now I just need to hook up my HTPC via hdmi tonight to check out some hidef movies.
