I had mine last week and I must say its very quiet I am running software 0.62 whihc means its probably one of the newer models not sure if that makes a different but also what is noisy to others is quiet to some can you here it when your watching the tv or just when its in standby ?

I got mine in december. I can hardly hear the fan even with the sound muted and standing close to the TV. The software is 0.49.
I am very pleased with the noise level!!
