    Hi,
I have a SAGEM AXIUM and DENON 500SD. WHEN I SWITCH THE DENON TO PROGRESSIVE MODE IT SPLITS THE SCREEN OF THE AXIUM IN 2 IE 2 IMAGES. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? THE AXIUM DOES RECOGNISE A PROGRESSIVE IMAGE BUT THE SCREEN SPLITS

The problem is that the Sagem either needs to be told it's getting a progressive image and it needs to turn off it's own de-interlacing (menu setting somewhere)....or it doesn't support incoming progressive signals.

Are you sure it supports progressive scan at 480p and 576p? It's a rear pro DLP device isn't it?

The artefact you see is what happens when you send a progressive scan signal to a device which is expecting an interlaced signal. If it does support the resolutions you are sending then there must be a menu setting wrong.

What sockets are you susing on the display and the dvd player?
