I want to buy an HD TV for £500 and have managed to narrow is down to two. The sagem axium HDL26T(2) or the Samsung LE-26R51. The problem is I can't decide. The Samsung has the higher contrast ratio but the sagem has better connectivity with 2HDMI ports!!!very rare expecially for £500. I want to hook them up to my computer as well as use for freeview. I also want to connect them to my Xbox360. I just don't know which one to choose as they both look great and have good and bad points. Better connectivity or better contrast ratio (sagem 800:1 vs samsung 3000:1). Can you help?:lease:

Bought the Sagem has had no real problems with it.

Fan noise can be a little noisy (on HDD model)- but just turn volume up.

Connected to a Mac via HDMI and the picture is very good. Freeview picture also very good - much better than I expected.

There's a thread about the sagem here
