S3 charge cable needed.. Extra long

    Got one from ebay, it discharges as im watching sky go

    Can anyone reccomend one that will charge and is a good length ?

    About 2m preferably

    I use the one that came with the kindle, it works perfectly.

    Obviously this is only any use if you have a kindle though

    Maplin sell a 3m lead for about £11.

    thats where I got my 2m one im using just now. it would take forever to charge and discharges whilst playing games and watching tv

    I won't want to repeat the my posts on the matter on the S3 thread, but in summary, longer cables (over 1.2m) may not charge your phones quickly enough if the screen is on. Seems there's an expensive 3M cable from Maplin people have reported does the job. It costs about £10 each. On the cheaper scale for less than £2 this 1.2M cable does the job.

    An alternative, as I have done successfully myself, is to buy a USB extention cable. Mine works very successfully for my wife's iPad and my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 - I bought a 3M one from Amazon.
