S.W. london signal reception?

i've just returned a thomsondhd1000 as it would'nt receive all the freview channels ( no itv, ch4, bbci and about 12 radio) any one else have the same problem with this box or is it the area (richmond) ta in advance shuggg

My Brother has the same problem, hes had this prob for quite a while, he just watches the missing channels on analogue, a real pain if you ask me.

I wonder if it will improve when analogue is switched off?

Plug your postcode into http://www.dtg.org.uk/retailer/coverage.html and it will tell you what channels you might expect to be receiving. You may also need a wide band aerial upgrade if you haven't already got one.

The problem is called 'Richmond Hill'. You will be receiving pictures from Crystal Palace which if you are on the wrong side of Richmond Hill to Crystal Palace, you wont get a good signal. Check with an aerial shop around there.

I'm in Twickenham which isn't too bad, but I still feel it could be better.

Ouch that hurts ! Still, I'm not paying over the odds to live in Richmond in suppose that's because I moved out from Richmond to better pastures !

better pastures? you'll need as many channels as you can to connect with the real world, still enjoy the farming ooooooooaaaaarrrrrrrr
