S-video vs companant

    NEC HT 1000 projector
    Denon 2800 DVD
    Panasonic EM20 DVD recorder
    Yamaha DAXP 1

    I have been comparing componant with S video and have found that I prefer S video - componant seens to give very blocky colours which results in loss of detail.

    I also think my Pany DVD recorder gives a superior picture to my Denon - Denon's cost £800 the same as the Pann but does not record!
